Xavier Dudley and Joseph Duverman Killed in Gila Bend Rollover Accident

 
GILA BEND, AZ (March 1, 2024) — Xavier Dudley and Joseph Duverman died in a rollover crash on Monday, February 19.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the incident took place on 88 Freeway near milepost 88 around 2:30 p.m.
 
Troopers said that the right rear tire blew on a Mitsubishi SUV in the eastbound lanes of 88 Freeway. Then it overturned several times into the dirt median near Sentinel.
 
The impact ejected five of the six people inside the SUV.
 
DPS said two people sustained fatal injuries due to the crash and died at the scene. Authorities identified them as 39-year-old Xavier Dudley from Margate, Florida, and 42-year-old Joseph Duverman from Port-Au-Prince, Haiti.
 
The four other occupants of the vehicle only described as three men and one woman also suffered injuries. Three of them were in critical condition and medics airlifted them to a Phoenix-area hospital. The other one was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
 
The investigation of the incident remains ongoing. However, there is no other information available.
