One Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Kipling Street at West 23rd Avenue [Lakewood, CO]

Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Vehicle on Kipling Street in Lakewood

 
LAKEWOOD, CO (March 1, 2024) – The Lakewood Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Kipling Street on February 23.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at West 23rd Avenue around 7:30 PM. Based on a report, a car hit the victim and left the scene.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Officers are now searching for a black 2014 Chevrolet Camaro with heavy front-end damage, a broken windshield, and a missing headlight.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
