Fatal Car Accident on 5 Freeway in Tacoma, Two Killed

 
TACOMA,WA (September 11, 2023) – Troopers confirmed that a woman and a teenage girl died in a two-car accident on 5 Freeway on September 3.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened during late night. Based on a report, a vehicle blocked a lane on the freeway prior to the crash.
 
Subsequently, another vehicle came and hit the car.
 
As a result, a woman suffered grave injuries and died at the crash scene. A teenage girl also sustained major injuries and died at the hospital. Officials did not yet release their names, pending kin notification.
 
Emergency crews also took a man to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
