SEATTLE, WA (March 13, 2024) – The Seattle Police Department confirmed that a woman died in a pedestrian accident on Northwest 85th Street on March 1.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at 15th Avenue Northwest shortly after 5:00 AM. Based on a report, a vehicle struck the woman near the intersection.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries in the incident. Officers and crews with the Seattle Fire Department responded to the scene and found her unresponsive in the roadway. They then declared her dead at the scene.
 
The driver who hit the woman cooperated with police. The SPD said a drug recognition expert did not observe any signs of impairment.
