Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Lemmon Drive in Reno

 
RENO, NV (March 13, 2024) – The Reno Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Lemmon Drive on February 28.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Nectar Street shortly before 7:00 PM. Based on a report, a vehicle hit the victim near the intersection.
 
Crews responded to the scene and transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital, where the victim later died. Officials did not yet release the deceased’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Authorities say the driver of the involved vehicle remained on scene. They ruled out impairment as a factor in this crash.
