Three Vehicles, Two Parked Cars Involved in Fatal Crash on Vegas Drive in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (March 13, 2024) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that two people died in a multi-vehicle crash on Vegas Drive on March 1.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Pyramid Drive around 10:10 PM. Based on a report, a Ford Crown Victoria and an unknown dark sedan were traveling together east on Vegas Drive at a high rate of speed.
 
The vehicles were approaching the intersection of Pyramid Drive. At the same time, a Nissan Frontier was turning left from Pyramid Drive to westbound Vegas Drive. Due to unknown reasons, the Nissan crossed paths with the Ford, causing it to hit the right side of the Ford. The Ford then hit a light pole before it came to rest in the lanes.
 
Debris from the crash hit two parked cars in the area.
 
As a result, the driver and the 16-year-old passenger of the Ford suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release their names, pending kin notification.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
