CHANNELVIEW, TX (December 8, 2022) – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a woman died after a pedestrian accident in the 2000 block of Dell Dale Street on December 5.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 10:33 PM. Based on a report, a Dodge Journey was driving north on Dell Dale Street prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the 25-year-old woman walked in front of the vehicle. Subsequently, the Dodge struck the woman.
 
As a result, the victim suffered severe injuries. Emergency crews took her to a hospital with CPR in progress but she later died. Officials did not yet release her name, pending kin notification.
 
According to investigators, the woman was not using a crosswalk at the time of the crash. In addition, the driver showed no signs of intoxication and is cooperating with authorities.
