Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle on 12th Avenue South in Seattle

 
SEATTLE, WA (June 10, 2024) – The Seattle Police Department confirmed that a woman in her 60s died in a pedestrian accident on 12th Avenue South on May 26.
 
The Washington State Patrol said the collision happened at South Weller Street just before 11:30 PM. Based on a report, a vehicle struck the woman near 12th Avenue South.
 
As a result, officers found the victim on the road with life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews transported her to Harborview Medical Center, where she later died.
 
According to police, the driver and passenger of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and cooperated with officers. Investigators said impairment was not a factor.
 
As of now, the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad (TCIS) is looking into the collision. Police said to contact the TCIS at 206-684-8923 if you have any information.
