PHOENIX, AZ (June 10, 2024) – The Phoenix Police Department confirmed that a man suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian accident on 36th Street on May 29.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Thomas Road around 6:00 AM. Based on a report, the pedestrian was in a wheelchair when a vehicle hit him.
 
As a result, the victim sustained life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews transported him to the hospital in serious condition.
 
The car involved remained on the scene. According to authorities, impairment was not a factor.
