Woman Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run Accident on Evergreen Way near Olivia Park Road
EVERETT, WA (July 5, 2023) — A woman died after a hit-and-run accident on Evergreen Way on Wednesday, June 21.
According to Everett Police, the accident happened at about 4:30 a.m. on northbound Evergreen Way, near Olivia Park Road.
Investigators said a dark-colored SUV initially struck the woman.
A witness then said that a couple in the SUV stopped in a parking lot. They went out and looked at the damage to their car. After that, they saw the woman they hit, went back in their vehicle, and drove away.
After the initial collision, several other vehicles apparently struck her and none of them stopped.
Police only described the victim as a 41-year-old woman. Her identity was not immediately known.
Officials described the initial vehicle involved in the crash as a dark-colored SUV with heavy front-end damage. It also possibly has windshield damage.
