Woman Struck and Killed by Driver Involved in Chasing and Shooting on Denley Drive in Dallas

 
DALLAS, TX (October 4, 2022) – Police confirmed that a woman died in a hit-and-run accident on Denley Drive on September 12.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Clarendon Drive and Marsalis Avenue.
 
Based on a report, a man was arguing with a woman in the 800 block of Denley Drive prior to the accident. Subsequently, a man in a vehicle came over and started shooting at the man. After that, Dallas police said the driver chased and continued shooting at the subject.
 
At some point, the driver lost control and hit the victim, who was standing on the side of the street. The vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
 
As a result, the woman suffered severe injuries in the incident. Paramedics took the victim to a local hospital, where she later died. Her identity was not yet available. The man who was being chased by the hit-and-run driver was not hurt.
 
Investigators have not released a description of the vehicle involved.
