Driver Wanted after Fatal in Hit-and-Run on Nellis Boulevard in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (February 26, 2024) – The Clark County Coroner’s Office confirmed that a woman died in a hit-and-run on Nellis Boulevard on February 15.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Harmon Avenue shortly before 8:30 PM. Based on a report, the 53-year-old woman was crossing outside of a marked crosswalk before the accident.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle traveling south on Nellis Boulevard hit her and left the scene. Subsequently, a Honda CRZ traveling northbound on the road hit her again.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release her name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the Honda stayed at the scene while police said the other driver was possibly driving a 2001-2009 Jaguar X-Type after they captured a blurry image of the vehicle and found a Jaguar hood emblem. Police ask anyone with information to contact Metro’s Collision Investigation Section at (702) 828-3595.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
