Jason Telvin Hospitalized after Woodland Car Crash near Woodland State Airport

 
WOODLAND, WA (February 26, 2024) — A 37-year-old Ariel man identified as Jason P. Telvin was injured in a crash on Wednesday, February 14.
 
According to a Washington State Patrol, the accident happened just before 11:00 p.m. on the 5 Freeway near the Woodland State Airport.
 
WSP said Telvin drove a white Chevrolet Camaro northbound on 5 Freeway. At the same time, 34-year-old Timothy W. Storey, of Greer, South Carolina, drove his gray Kia Sportage northbound on the same freeway.
 
Then Telvin lost control of his car and struck the cable barrier. After that, Storey’s vehicle hit Telvin’s Camaro as it came to a stop in the center lane.
 
Paramedics rushed Telvin to PeaceHealth Southwest with injuries sustained from the crash. It is unknown whether he wore his seatbelt when the accident occurred.
 
Storey had his seatbelt on, and he did not have any injuries.
 
Reports said both vehicles suffered significant damage.
 
Authorities continue to investigate if intoxication contributed to the incident.
