Adrian Dominguez Killed after Three-Vehicle Crash in El Paso

 
EL PASO, TX (February 26, 2024) — A 42-year-old man identified as Adrian Dominguez died in a three-vehicle crash on Saturday, February 17.
 
According to the El Paso Police, the crash took place at the 7700 block of Gateway East Boulevard and Giles Road shortly after 6:45 p.m.
 
Police said Dominguez drove a white VW Beetle on Gateway East. Then he entered Giles on the turn-left-only lane at a red light.
 
At the same time, a blue 2021 Dodge Charger traveled south on Giles on a green light. Then it crashed with the Beetle. The impact caused it to collide with a silver 2003 Ford Expedition that was stopped at the red light in the northbound lanes of Giles.
 
Dominguez suffered serious injuries. Paramedics rushed him to an area hospital where he later died.
 
Authorities identified the driver of the Dodge as 24-year-old Samuel Ayden Mock, of El Paso. They also identified the Ford Expedition driver as 43-year-old Carlos Alberto Andrade, also of El Paso, and a 15-year-old passenger. They did not sustain injuries.
 
Special Traffic Investigators said that disregard for a red light is the main contributor to the incident.
