SELAH, WA (May 24, 2024) – Officials confirmed that a 63-year-old Yakima woman suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Goodlander Road on May 14.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at 1st Street around 9:38 PM. Based on a report, the woman was walking in the crosswalk before the crash.
 
At the same time, a 32-year-old Yakima man in a Dodge Ram driving westbound on Goodlander Road was turning left onto southbound 1st Street. Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle hit the victim.
 
As a result, the woman sustained injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported her to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
