Vincent Hoff Involved in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Probasco Way in Sparks

 
SPARKS, NV (January 27, 2023) – The Sparks Police Department arrested Vincent Joseph Hoff following a fatal hit-and-run accident on Probasco Way on January 17.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at East Prater Way around 6:30 AM. Based on a report, a woman was crossing the activated crosswalk at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, Hoff came, struck her, and left the scene without rendering aid.
 
As a result, the woman died in the incident. Officials did not yet release her name, pending kin approval.
 
On January 24, police located and arrested Hoff for leaving the scene of an accident causing death. They booked him into the Washoe County Jail.
 
The investigation remains ongoing and the Sparks Police Department has not released additional details.
