Jesus Trevino and Angela Galicia Identified in Fatal Crash in Harlingen, Juan Bazaldua-Sanchez Arrested
HARLINGEN, TX (January 27, 2023) – Officers identified 28-year-old Angela Galicia and 65-year-old Jesus Trevino as the victims who died in a crash on Farm-to-Market 106 on January 20.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 2:20 PM. Based on a report, 25-year-old Juan Jose Bazaldua-Sanchez was driving a commercial tractor-trailer eastbound at the 25000 block of FM 106.
Due to unknown reasons, he lost control of the vehicle causing it to jack-knife in the middle of the road. There, a black Chevy Tahoe, a maroon Jeep Wrangler, and a black Dodge Ram crashed into it.
As a result, Harlingen Police Department said Galicia and Trevino were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police arrested Bazaldua-Sanchez on two counts of manslaughter.
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
