Pedestrian Struck and Killed on North Nellis Boulevard at Las Vegas Boulevard in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (January 27, 2023) – The Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that a 23-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident on North Nellis Boulevard on January 24.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Las Vegas Boulevard around 6:47 PM. Based on a report, a black or gray Nissan Altima was traveling near the intersection prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, the pedestrian was crossing Las Vegas Boulevard on a marked crosswalk but on a “Don’t Walk” signal. Subsequently, the vehicle struck the man.
 
As a result, the pedestrian died in the incident.
 
The 20-year-old driver did not show signs of impairment and cooperated with the investigation.
 
At this point, officers continue to investigate the case.
