Motorcyclist Vance Peek Identified in Fatal Accident in Odessa

 
ODESSA, TX (July 12, 2024) – The Odessa Police Department identified 33-year-old Vance Peek who died in a motorcycle accident in the 4500 block of Northeast Loop 338 on June 21.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Arroyo Road at approximately 4:24 PM. Based on a report, Peek was driving a white 2006 Harley Davidson north on Loop 338 before the crash.
 
At the same time, a black 2021 Ford F-150 was going south on the same road. When the Ford attempted to turn east onto Arroyo Road, it failed to yield the right of way and collided with Peek. Subsequently, the Ford F-150 collided with a beige 2022 GMC Denali which was stopped at the stop sign.
 
Peek suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to Medical Center Hospital, where he later died.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
