SAN ANTONIO, TX (March 7, 2025) — A 44-year-old man, Valvemar Garcia, died in a two-vehicle accident on Thursday, February 6.
 
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the crash occurred around 5:40 p.m. near Kyle Seale Parkway and Sonoma Parkway.
 
Investigators said Garcia drove a Suzuki Grand Vitara. Then he attempted to enter the roadway. However, the Suzuki failed to yield, and an F-210 truck struck it on the side.
 
Emergency responders arrived at the scene. Then they confirmed Garcia had died from his injuries.
 
There were no reports of other injuries in the incident.
 
Police said the driver of the truck remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Officials said there are no expected charges.
