Tysen Blodgett Identified in Fatal Federal Way Accident

 
FEDERAL WAY, WA (March 10, 2023) – Officers identified 41-year-old Tysen Blodgett of Puyallup as the victim who died in an accident on 5 Freeway on March 6.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at South 320th Street around 5:20 PM. Based on a report, Blodgett was traveling southbound on the freeway prior to the crash.
 
As he approached 320th Street, he lost control on the icy road, swerved to the right, and struck a concrete jersey barrier. Subsequently, three other vehicles struck his car.
 
As a result, Blodgett suffered grave injuries in the incident. Crews transported him to Harborview Medical Center, where he later died.
 
Crews also transported a 59-year-old California to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for injuries.
 
The crash remains under investigation. At this point, no other details are available.
