2-Year-Old Girl Killed in Pedestrian Accident on 29th Street [Boulder, CO]

BOULDER, CO (May 24, 2024) – The Boulder Police Department confirmed that a 2-year-old girl died in a pedestrian accident in the 700 block of 29th Street on May 13.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at an apartment complex around 5:20 PM. Based on a report, the girl and her father were walking through a parking lot at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado pickup struck the child.
 
As a result, the girl suffered grave injuries in the incident. A witness drove her and her father to the hospital, where the girl died a short time later. Officials did not release her name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver, a 24-year-old man, remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
