Colorado Springs Pedestrian Accident on Monica Drive and Moonbeam Drive
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (November 14, 2024) — Two teens sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on Monica Drive on Thursday, October 31.
The Colorado Springs Police Department said the incident happened at about 8:15 p.m. at Monica Drive and Moonbeam Drive, near Hancock Expressway.
CSPD said that a vehicle struck one female juvenile and one female 19-year-old. Then first responders arrived and brought both females to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries. They are both expected to be okay.
Police believe alcohol did not contribute as a factor in the accident.
Officers also said the driver stayed at the scene after the incident. As of writing, there were no reports of any citations.
CSPD continues to investigate the pedestrian incident.
