Crash Victims Hit, Seriously Injured by Semi-Truck on 25 Freeway in Castle Pines

CASTLE PINES, CO (February 5, 2024) – Officials confirmed that two people suffered serious injuries following two accidents on 25 Freeway on January 30.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened before 10:45 PM. Based on a report, the victims had gotten out of their vehicle after the crash on the southbound side of the freeway.

Due to unknown reasons, a semi-truck then came through the crash scene on the left side and caused a second accident, hitting the victims. The vehicles involved ended up on both shoulders of the highway.

As a result, the victims sustained serious injuries in the incident.

It was not clear if there were charges on the driver who caused the initial crash and the semi-truck driver.

As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
