Motorcyclist Dies in Arlington Accident with Semi-Truck on 5 Freeway

 
ARLINGTON, WA (February 5, 2024) – The Arlington Police Department confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident on 5 Freeway on January 30.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Highway 531 around 3:00 AM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a motorcycle when he collided with a semi-truck and an SUV.
 
As a result, the rider suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Crews diverted all southbound traffic off the freeway while they worked to clear the scene.
