LONGMONT, CO (July 10, 2024) – The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that two motorcycle riders sustained critical injuries in an accident on North 53rd Avenue on June 18.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Ute Highway around 3:11 PM. Based on a report, a deer ran onto the road and collided with the victims who were riding a motorcycle.
 
As a result, the riders were seriously hurt in the incident. Crews used a medical helicopter to transport the victims to the hospital for treatment.
 
It was not immediately clear what happened to the deer.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
