GLENDALE, AZ (July 10, 2024) – The Glendale Police Department confirmed that one person suffered serious injuries in a bicycle accident on 99th Avenue on June 15.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Glendale Avenue. Based on a report, the victim was crossing Glendale Avenue and heading north during the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the victim’s bicycle got hit by a car.
 
As a result, the victim suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the cyclist to a Valley hospital for treatment.
 
The driver of the car remained at the scene of the crash. Police said impairment was not a factor in the crash.
