KENNEWICK, WA (October 16, 2023) — Two men suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Washington Street on Tuesday, October 3.
 
According to the Kennewick Police Department, at around 7:00 p.m. two men – ages 46 and 42 – walked across Washington Street at Railroad Avenue. Then a vehicle traveling south on Washington Street struck them.
 
The men suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and they received treatment at a local hospital.
 
The driver stopped and remained at the scene, but the person’s identity was not available.
 
Authorities said the pedestrians were on the designated crosswalk when the crash happened. In addition, they believe impairment did not play a role in the collision.
 
Kennewick police’s traffic unit continues to investigate the incident.
