SUGAR LAND, TX (May 9, 2023) – Officials confirmed that two people died in a head-on crash on Highway 59 on April 30.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 4:00 AM. Based on a report, a Toyota pickup was traveling on the wrong way on the highway prior to the crash.
 
Subsequently, it crashed into a Chevrolet pickup truck head-on.
 
As a result, two people in the wrong-way vehicle suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Police said both men were in their late teens or early 20s.
 
Crews transported two children and an adult man to the hospital for their injuries.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
