Motorcyclist Seriously Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver in Golden Accident on 70 Freeway

 
GOLDEN, CO (May 9, 2023) – West Metro Fire rescued two motorcycle riders who were struck in a hit-and-run accident on westbound 70 Freeway on May 7.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened near 32nd Avenue. Based on a report a tow truck hit the two motorcyclists and fled the scene.
 
As a result, one rider suffered a broken collarbone and kneecap. Emergency crews transported the victim to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Lakewood.
 
The CSP said they have leads on the hit-and-run driver.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
