Two Killed in Rollover Accident on 35 Freeway [La Salle County, TX]

Teen, Adult Killed in Car Accident on 35 Freeway in La Salle County

 
LA SALLE COUNTY, TX (October 3, 2023) – Officers confirmed that two people died in a rollover accident on northbound 35 Freeway on September 26.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened near mile marker 41 around 4:30 PM. Based on a report, a commercial truck tractor collided with a Ford pickup truck in the lanes.
 
Subsequently, the truck rolled over several times.
 
As a result, an adult and a teen inside the truck sustained grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release their names, pending kin notification.
 
Police said emergency crews transported another teen to the hospital in critical condition.
 
DPS closed the northbound lane of the freeway.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
