ROUND ROCK, TX (September 28, 2023) – Officials confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on 35 Freeway on September 23.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at Old Settlers Boulevard around 3:00 AM. Based on a report, a vehicle struck the victim on the freeway near the intersection.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
The crash also shut down all lanes of the freeway.
 
Police said the driver remained on the scene and cooperated with them.
