LAS VEGAS, NV (February 2, 2024) – Las Vegas Metropolitan Police confirmed that two people died in a crash on Rainbow Boulevard on January 6.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Spring Valley Parkway around 6:10 PM. Based on a report, a sedan turned left onto Spring Valley Parkway on a flashing yellow arrow before the crash.
 
At the same time, a 2021 Kawasaki Z900 motorcycle was heading south on Rainbow Boulevard at an extremely high rate of speed. Subsequently, the motorcycle crashed into the front passenger door of the sedan.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist and a passenger in the sedan suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials only identified the rider as a 19-year-old man and the passenger of the sedan as a 64-year-old woman.
 
Crews transported the driver of the sedan to the hospital with minor injuries.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
