Fatal Pickup Truck Accident on Airline Drive at Dyna Drive in Houston
HOUSTON, TX (October 25, 2022) – Police confirmed two deaths in fiery pickup truck accident on Airline Drive on October 22.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Dyna Drive around 3:45 AM.
Based on a report, a silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was heading north on Airline prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle veered off the roadway, drove up on a sidewalk and slammed into a tree. Subsequently, the pickup truck then rolled over and hit the fence of an apartment complex and a bus stop shelter. The truck then burst into flames.
As a result, the Houston Police Department said one victim died inside the truck. In addition, another victim who was thrown off the road also died in the incident. Police did not yet release the victims’ identities.
Police suspected the driver of the vehicle to be intoxicated. As of now, an investigation is ongoing.
