LOCKHART, TX (October 25, 2022) – Police confirmed that one person died in a crash on northbound Highway 183 on October 22.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Old Lockhart Road around 4:30 AM.
 
The police did not yet release the details that led to the crash. Based on a report, two vehicles collided in the lanes.
 
As a result, Austin-Travis County EMS said one person died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
In addition, emergency crews rushed another person to the hospital with injuries.
