Fatal Single Vehicle Accident on South 272nd Street in Kent

 
KENT, WA (May 22, 2024) – The Kent Police Department confirmed that two people died in a fiery accident on South 272nd Street on May 11.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at South Star Lake Road around 7:40 PM. Based on a report, the victims were in a white sedan speeding near the intersection before the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, their car crashed into a tree before it caught fire. Some witnesses tried rescuing the victims but were unsuccessful.
 
As a result, the victims who were the only occupants of the sedan suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not release their names, pending kin notification.
