SPOKANE, WA (May 22, 2024) – The Spokane Valley Fire Department confirmed that one person was involved in a pedestrian accident on Highway 2 on May 4.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near Dick’s Sporting Goods around 5:30 PM. Based on a report, a vehicle hit the victim. Authorities did not cite the reason for the crash.
 
The incident drew several emergency response vehicles but emergency crews did not release the extent of the injuries sustained in the incident.
