SURPRISE, AZ (April 30, 2024) — Two motorcyclists suffered injuries in an accident on Bell Road on Friday, April 19.
 
According to the Surprise police, the accident near Bell Road and RH Johnson Boulevard, just east of Grand Avenue at night. They said a motorcycle and a vehicle crashed in the area.
 
The impact of the collision caused the motorcycle to end up in a canal. However, reports did not say where the officers found the two riders.
 
Emergency responders arrived at the scene. Then they brought both riders to the hospital with serious injuries.
 
Police have not said what caused the accident, nor have they identified the persons involved.
 
Officers closed the westbound Bell Road and southbound RH Johnson Boulevard during the on-scene investigation. They reopened them at around 8:37 p.m.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
