Gouthan Parsi, Nivesh Mukka Die in Head-On Accident in Peoria

 
PEORIA, AZ (April 30, 2024)Nivesh Mukka and Gouthan Parsi died in a head-on accident on Saturday, April 20.
 
According to the Peoria police, the crash took place on Castle Hot Springs Road, just north of Highway 74, at about 6:15 p.m.
 
Peoria Police said a red Ford F-150 traveled north on Castle Hot Springs Road. At the same time, a white Kia Forte traveled south. Then the two vehicles crashed head-on.
 
Two passengers in the Kia Forte died from their injuries at the scene. Officers identified them as 19-year-old Mukka and 19-year-old Parsi. Both are from India.
 
Paramedics brought the driver of the Kia Forte and the truck to the hospital with serious injuries.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash. Police have reported if speed or impairment contributed to the collision.
 
Officers closed Castle Hot Springs throughout the night. They reopened it on Sunday morning shortly after 5:30 a.m.
