MONROE, WA (February 20, 2024) – Officials confirmed that two people were hurt in a head-on crash on Highway 395 on February 12.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Denison Chattaroy Road at approximately 7:00 AM. Based on a report, a car was traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on the highway during the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, it slid across the center lines and collided with a car traveling southbound.
 
As a result, both drivers sustained injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported both victims to the hospital for treatment.
 
The driver did receive a traffic infraction for the incident.
