CORNVILLE, AZ (December 5, 2023) — Two cyclists sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Page Springs Road on Friday, October 6.
 
According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place near the intersection of Page Springs Road and East Oak Grove Lane around 8:30 a.m.
 
Witnesses told officers that the driver of the truck intentionally swerved into two cyclists. As a result, the impact caused one cyclist to go down hard. He suffered bad abrasions, broken ribs, and lacerations to the forehead.
 
The driver left the scene and moved northbound from Page Springs Road.
 
A business in the area provided footage from a surveillance camera. After that, YCSO circulated an image from that video. However, the license plate of the vehicle is not visible.
 
Official reports describe the suspect as a white male who is under 30 with medium-length brown hair. In addition, they said he wore a brown ball cap and a plaid shirt.
