One Killed, Another Injured after Car Accident on Meridian Road

 
FALCON, CO (December 5, 2023) — One person died in a two-vehicle car crash on Meridian Road on Wednesday, November 22.
 
According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred just after 5:00 p.m. near the Walmart in Falcon.
 
The Colorado State Patrol said that there were two vehicles involved in the crash. A passenger in one of those vehicles died. Another person suffered minor injuries.
 
CSP said officers closed Meridian Road between Woodmen Road and Old Meridian Road for around four hours. They urged motorists to avoid the area and find alternate routes as emergency crews responded to the scene.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
