Nine Motorcycles, Three Vehicles Involved in Auburn Car Crash on Highway 18

 
AUBURN, WA (March 25, 2024) – Emergency crews airlifted two people to the hospital following a multi-vehicle car crash on Highway 18 on March 16.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Highway 167 around 1:01 PM. Based on a report, the pile-up started after a vehicle slowing for traffic was rear-ended by another vehicle.
 
Then, the crash involved seven motorcycles and a third car, veering into the motorcycles. The WSP said the car that hit the motorcycles took off after the collision.
 
As a result, three riders suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics airlifted two of them to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.
 
However, it is unclear what charges the driver who fled may face.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
