Stolen Car Crash on Civic Center Drive in North Las Vegas

 
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (March 25, 2024) – Police arrested three people following a stolen car crash on Civic Center Drive on March 12.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Tonopah Avenue at about 10:42 AM. Based on a report, the suspects were traveling in a stolen Kia Sportage at the time of the crash.
 
Officers learned about the stolen SUV and tried to perform a vehicle stop. The Kia did not pull over and moved recklessly eastbound on Tonopah Avenue. Officers stopped their pursuit and the Kia ran through a stop sign. It then hit a pickup truck and van before rolling over and coming to a stop on its roof.
 
As a result, the three suspects, an adult male and two females, sustained injuries and were hospitalized.
Police then took them into custody.
 
The driver of the van and a passenger in the pickup truck sustained minor injuries in the crash.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
