Tomas Vasquez Fatal Victim in San Benito Three-Car Crash

 
SAN BENITO, TX (February 25, 2025) – Tomas Vasquez died following a three-car crash on Farm to Market Road 732 and Pennsylvania Avenue on Thursday evening, February 13.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal incident took place around 8:00 p.m. It involved a Chevrolet Colorado pick-up, a Dodge Ram pick-up, and a Dodge Charger, police said.
 
Reports indicated that both the Chevrolet Colorado and Dodge Ram were heading northbound on FM 732. At the same time, a Dodge Charger was traveling southbound on FM 732.
 
The Dodge Charger veered onto the northbound lanes and collided with both the Chevrolet Colorado and the Dodge Ram.
 
The driver of the Charger, 47-year-old Vasquez, died at the scene.
 
Medics took the driver and the passenger of the Dodge Ram to Valley Baptist Medical Center with unknown injuries.
 
The crash remains under investigation.
