FORT WORTH, TX (February 25, 2025) – A man died while Emily Garcia was arrested following a suspected intentional crash on 28th Street on Saturday afternoon, February 15.
 
According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the fatal incident happened around 12:45 p.m. on the 3400 block of NE 28th Street.
 
The specific circumstances leading up to the crash remain unclear but police located an SUV had crashed into a light pole.
 
It was also later determined that a female and male occupant of the vehicle were ex-partners. Authorities said that the woman intentionally caused the crash.
 
The ex-partner of the female died at the scene, police said.
 
Another man was injured from the crash but his involvement is unclear.
 
The woman, identified as 29-year-old Garcia was arrested and faces a murder charge.
 
Investigation into the incident remains open and active.
