Wrong-Way Electric Motorcycle Accident on Via Las Brisas in Thousand Oaks

 
THOUSAND OAKS, CA (March 6, 2023) – Three teenage boys suffered serious injuries in an electric motorcycle accident on Via Las Brisas on February 27.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Via Grande just after 6:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the boys were on a motorcycle traveling on the wrong way in the southbound bicycle lane of Via Las Brisas at the time of the crash. As an SUV was turned right from southbound Las Brisas onto Via Grande, a head-on accident occurred.
 
As a result, the boys, aged 14, 15, and 16 years old, were ejected from the motorcycle. They suffered serious injuries including broken bones and blunt force trauma injuries. Emergency personnel provided care at the scene before transporting them to Los Robles Regional Medical Center.
 
The 47-year-old woman driving the SUV stopped and cooperated with police. In addition, police did not believe she was impaired at that time.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
