Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Desert Inn Road in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV (March 6, 2023) – The Clark County Coroner’s office confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle crash on Desert Inn Road on February 28.
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at South Tenaya Way around 9:00 PM. Based on a report, the 58-year-old motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Desert Inn Road at the time of the crash.
At the same time, a driver in a Toyota was traveling westbound. Due to unknown reasons, the Toyota made a left-hand turn at a flashing yellow arrow in front of the motorcyclist and caused a collision.
As a result, the motorcyclist suffered grave injuries and died at University Medical Center. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
The Toyota driver and his passenger suffered minor injuries. Officers said the driver did not show signs of impairment.
At this point, officers continue to investigate the case.
