Three Fatally Injured in Goldfield Motorcycle Accident on Highway 95
GOLDFIELD, NV (May 29, 2024) — Three people died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 95 on Saturday, May 18.
According to the Nevada State Police, the accident took place on Highway 95 near Highway 266, shortly after 12:30 p.m.
Nevada State Police said the crash of several motorcycles and an SUV were part of the accident. They also confirmed three people died in the crash. However, it is still not determined if all those who died were motorcycle riders.
The identities of the deceased victims were not immediately available.
Officers closed Highway 95 in Esmeralda County between Mile Marker 18 and Mile Marker 44. Additionally, they also closed the intersection of Highway 95 and Highway 266.
An NSP spokesperson said they closed the area for around 3 to 5 hours during the investigation. They also advised motorists to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
There were no further details released.
Officials continue to investigate the incident.
