Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident on South McDonald Street [McKinney, TX]

MCKINNEY, TX (May 29, 2024) – Officials confirmed that a 39-year-old woman died in a pedestrian accident in the 1000 block of South McDonald Street on May 19.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened around 10:15 PM. Based on a report, the victim was walking on the road during the incident.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a Ford Focus hit her.
 
As a result, the victim had suffered a head injury and was unconscious. Emergency crews rushed her to Medical Center McKinney, where she died. Police did not release her name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the Ford Focus was not intoxicated at that time.
